BREW™ – part one

Another day, another mission.

It's time for two of Sweden's finest breweries to step up for a shoot. First up – Sigtuna Brygghus (or internally referred to as Brüghauß – one has to spoof up the project names a bit sometimes)! Located near Arlanda, this low-flying-zone is home to some of the absolute best people when it comes to beer brewing in Sweden.

It was a day of serious fun, with monkeys and makeshift skateboards (although not monkeys ON skateboards, thank heavens) and tons of images. Although I've only done a draft so far, I can tell this project is going to be really sweet. This is what I have to share so far!

Next up, it's time for S:t Eriks Bryggeri, which happen to be working in the very same locale. Hopefully, this will be sooner rather than later – I can't wait!

1 year and counting

Shit, that's just crazy.

Really.

It's been the best year ever though, so it's not like I mind or anything.

Me and Louise celebrated this by doing random schtuffs all day. First off, lunch out on a field in Hagaparken, followed by a long (and sweaty!) trip through Fjärilshuset. Then? Shoes. Because... why not? Oh, and we finished off with greasy burgers for dinner with shakes. ;)

Now? A whole bunch of pictures!

PS. The X-Pro1 with a 35/1.4 is gold. Pure. Fucking. Gold.
Coated in extra gold.

Gram Store

Finally, Gram is opening a flagship store in Sweden. Located in the heart of Södermalm, a small, white-painted store houses the entire collection of classy sneakers currently available. Also features portraits of head designer Alexis Holm.

GRAM SHOES – THE STORE

Veronica Mars

I'm a big fan of Kickstarter, and crowdfunding as a whole. Independent creators get a chance to do their thing, exactly as they want it – whether it's tech equipment, books or movies.

As it so happens, I backed Zach Braff's new project 'Wish I Was Here' a while back, and... that's where the similarities to this project end. Backing a movie you want to see.

Here, almost 100 000 fans of the show Veronica Mars got together to create a full-length movie – and it had it's 'premiere' show today. Or rather said, its only show/screening (in Sweden, at least). More than 300 backers of the project joined Warner Brothers at Filmhuset in Stockholm for the only cinema-styled screening of the Veronica Mars movie – and WB even brought goodiebags for everyone. Lovely!

Oh, and the movie was great. Maybe I should give the series a try...

Also, bonus:

OH MY!

This Saturday, I went by Debaser Medis to cover OH MY!. The first concert since Hoffmaestro in 2013, in fact, and the first one at Debaser in about a year. It was good to be back!

Also, fun thing to do this through my iPad. Never thought it would work so well!

By the way, the pictures are available here.

Naimakka beer/shoot-evening

Yeah, well... I couldn't come up with a better title.

Patrik from Naimakka and I went to visit our friend Emanuel to crash his studio. We brought beer, he let us in – a nice deal. Along with the beer, we brought a ton of bracelets to get some new product shots. And more beer.

Also, note to self (and you): the X100 is the perfect BTS-camera. Doesn't make a sound and can handle poor lighting like a baws.

Crafting

Beer, that is. Or well - not me. I'll just do my best to take care of the images.

Despite being a gift, I'll give these brands a whirl to see what I can come up with image-wise. And then I'll give them a taste, too. One should not waste good beer, after all.

Then there's hopefully some real work to be done.

Coffee, mans bestest friend

Newly roasted beans. The smell is amazing - you should try it sometimes.

By the way. Hopefully I have some good news to share in the coming week or so. Things are happening.

In the meantime, try to enjoy some nice cups of joe. Oh, and my X100 still smells of coffee for some reason. It's lovely.
