WEEK | 36 #2

Now, I rushed myself there in the latest entry. Everything went as usual for the rest of the week, except for one thing. Oskar at Spontano asked me if I could pitch in at Stockholm Tech Fest, a really neat event at Stockholm Waterfront. This full-day conference was spent with the Fuji X-T1 and tons of mints to counter the (very) poor coffee, handed to us by Absolut Vodka. How about we just leave them to run their booze-division and leave the beans out of this?

WEEK | 36 #1

This is Boss. He's a french bulldog. Maybe you've seen him sometime.
Either way, he's really super cute!

Now, stuff has happened. For one thing, school's coming up nicely, and I'm getting to know tons of great people! I've also had some nice lunches with great people, and also actually done some real shooting with something that isn't my phone.

Fall is... falling upon us.
Yeah, that didn't work out. Not at all.

Still, fall is coming, which means nice sunsets on the way home, slightly colder mornings and a plethora of "Winter is coming"-memes on Facebook. Not yet, but they're coming soon. Very soon.

WEEK | 34

School's up. In the old locales of Swedish Railways (or as the Swedes know it - SJ), I'll learn the do's and don'ts of digital strategy for a year at Nackademin. I'm still trying to get the job application going, but I wouldn't bet on anything considering the odds and practicalities. Should it work out, it would most certainly be awesome. Still, this is the best "Plan B" I could ever dream of.

Now, let's go do some digital strategic stuff.

WEEK | 33

I'll be doing these entries a bit different now (read: a bit less to read and enjoy), as there are many things to prepare and tend to. A fun thing worth mentioning was that I suddenly grew tired of my iPhone 5S, and decided to swap it. I didn't know for what, but I just put an ad up, telling people to send me suggestions. It didn't take long until I found the replacement.

WEEK | 32

The big feature of the week was easily Dans Dakar, a one-day festival in the very centre of Stockholm. Featuring headliners such as Skrillex, Die Antwoord, Zedd and Kygo, this was a really sweet thing to participate in. With artists spread across three stages, the island of Riddarholmen had its 1400's theme interrupted by some crazy kids wanting the bass to drop real hard.

WEEK | 31

Being a relatively slow week, this is what I would call "vacation". Apart from travelling to the countryside, I've been training with the X-T1, making sure I know what it likes. Cameras all have their own different sweet spots.

WEEK | 30

Not being able to justify uploading a few images here and there to the blog, I'm gonna try this new 'segment' where I'll just upload whatever the week has brought up in terms of news, images and other schtuff. It could also be seen as a weak mans 365-project, but hey – as long as it's fun, right?

#tbt First Aid Kit '11

Going through some old files, I discovered some unprocessed RAW-files from one of First Aid Kits earlier shows. This one was at Debaser Medis, where they acted as a warm-up for Bright Eyes. Their collaboration later resulted in 'The Lion's Roar', and this was where it all started.

Chilling with a Passenger

Have you ever thought of some crazy idea and come to the simple conclution "why the fuck not"?

If you have, you know it's an amazing feeling to pull something like that through and not just sticking to the idea-stage, even though it might not go as planned.
